GENETIC DISCOVERY
Genetic Discovery is another level to Breeding. Sometimes when breeding two Vespers, a special gene appears that doesn't belong to either parent. This gene is possibly brand new - you could be the first person to discover this gene! These genes have varying pass rates and are only obtainable through breeding, which means there is no other way to obtain these genes besides breeding Vespers together! We believe that this enables players to get a step ahead, without always having to buy semi-customs to stay up to date in the breeding game.
HOW IT WORKS
As an example, say you breed GENE A with GENE B. It's possible that nobody knows that this combination has a chance of creating GENE C. However, when somebody manages to successfully breed these genes together, they may discover their pup has been born with GENE C! This is possibly a gene that has never been seen yet!
We advise people to work together and share what breedings resulted in Genetic Discovery. Working as a team is an effective method at narrowing down what genes combine to create new genes. Over time, new Undiscovered Genes will start to show up on the list below, as well as information on genes that have already been discovered.
Do Discovered Genes Pass?
Yes! When a Vesper is born with a gene, it passes normally. The pass rates of these genes depend on their rarity, and will be added to Genetic Roller Information as well as the Gene Guide once discovered.
